Baillie Cameron,Chair of Culture and Sport Glasgow, joined local schoolchildren to read The Lost World at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.

Pupils at Hillfields Primary, Bristol were among the first to receive publicity posters for the Lost World Read 2009. They are looking forward to taking part in the project. Alongside the posters, they are holding thank you cards from Simon Gurr, illustrator of Darwin: the graphic biography, for their help in the 2008 Great Reading Adventure: The Bristol Story.
